One of my favorite traditions we started a couple years ago, is taking them shopping to pick out gifts for each other. They each use some of their money (sometimes supplemented with some of ours 😉 ) to pick out a gift for both of their siblings. While shopping, we also pick out some gifts for their cousins and friends. It really warms my heart to see them getting excited to pick out gifts for others and really take into consideration what that person would want.
Village Pointe is always our go to place to take the kids – they not only have so many options when shopping for kids gifts, but the kids also love seeing all the decor and exploring the outdoor mall area. Today I am sharing our top finds and lots of gift ideas for kids at Village Pointe!
First up, we LOVE Lush Cosmetics. The kids are obsessed with bath bombs and they currently have so many adorable holiday themed products. They do in-store demonstrations (which entertained the kids while I grabbed a couple stocking stuffers!!). Harper picked out a little candy cane bath bomb for one of her cousins!
Francescas may come to mind as a store for on trend women’s clothing and accessories…but this time of year, the store is full of gifts for men, women, and kids!! The price point for most of these little gifts were perfect for the kids to buy for each other and would also make great secret Santa gifts or stocking stuffers! Elle found some cool putty to give Hudson!
A must stop for kids gifts is Scheels. Did you know they have an entire Toyland full of kids toys?? At this stop, the kids got slightly distracted from picking out gifts for others and started scoping out gifts for their lists 😉 The loved exploring this area full of LOL dolls, Legos, games, and stuffed animals. Hudson picked out an adorable Ty stuffie for Harper.
The girls drug Aaron into Justice and Claire’s Accessories – two of his favorite stores!! Justice is brimming with gifts from pajamas and shirts to bows and girly items the girls just love. Their favorite items at Justice are all of the personalized gifts. You can find so many items that contain their initial – from brushes, to pillows, to shirts and more. These always make such fun gifts for their friends too. Claires has so many accessories and fun gift ideas for both boys and girls. I always get some earrings for Elle (buy 1 get 1 free!!) and a couple fun Christmas necklaces. The girls were able to find gifts for each other at both of these stores and I loaded up on some more stocking stuffers!
In addition to to kids gifts, we snag a lot of our holiday outfits for the kids (and us!) here. Harper got her Christmas dress at Janie and Jack, which has THE MOST gorgeous dresses for girls. All of our outfits are head to toe from Village Pointe. The girls’ plaid dresses and Hudson’s plaid shirt are all from Gap – one of the best places to shop for coordinating looks for your kids! Harper’s Ugg boots are from Shcheels. Elle’s shoes and Hudson’s vest and shoes are from Old Navy. My sweater is from Loft and purse is from Coach. My leggings, hat, and booties are from Evereve.
Any Christmas shopping trip to Village Pointe wouldn’t be complete without a stop in Scooters for some hot chocolate. It was such so heartwarming to see them sitting there giggling and discussing fun toys they had seen. I really hope that little traditions like this stick with them forever! This is what the holidays are all about…spending this wonderful time together and creating joy for others!!
