We crossed an item off our summer bucket list this past weekend with a visit to the farm to pick some strawberries. It was super hot, and Hudson & Harper were not loving it, but Elle and I had a great time picking lots of berries. We have done this the past couple summers and it is always something the kids look forward to – they love eating the berries straight out of the field.
We discussed our summer bucket list – which I am sharing today. The kids had lots of great ideas and each got to pick 2 each and Aaron and I also picked 2. One thing I noticed as we were going around the table, was how simple these requests they had were. Simple in that they required little more than my time. I recently read this quote, which has become my summer mantra… “We get 18 delicious summers with our children. This is one of your 18. If that’s not perspective, I don’t know what is.” – Jessica Scott. I mean, how incredible is that? Keeping that in mind, we are going to plug away at our summer bucket list and enjoy this sweet time together creating memories!!
